Overview

Stratagen Bio is a venture-backed life sciences company focused on transforming MRI into a tool for quantitative biomarker assessment and clinical decision making. The Director of Software Engineering will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of our data processing and visualization platform. This software platform will first be deployed to support measurement of absolute oxygen levels using our proprietary oxygen sensor followed by expansion to use for additional quantitative biomarkers. We are offering competitive compensation for this position. Please submit your resume to Careers@StratagenBio.com to apply.

About Stratagen Bio

Our platform, born out of intellectual property from MIT and Brigham and Women’s Hospital, combines innovations in materials science and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Our first product provides an absolute and direct measurement of tissue oxygen that is cost-effective, workflow compatible, and is read using MRI. Our beachhead indication is in radiation oncology where the tumor oxygen level is known to modulate treatment efficacy and drive patient outcomes. Determining the correct radiation dose is an individualized process for each patient. Stratagen Bio’s growth plans include expansion of our platform to additional applications including neurology, cardiovascular disease, trauma, and tissue transplantation for both oxygen and non-oxygen related measurements. Stratagen Bio currently collaborates with three top oncology hospitals and has received SBIR funding from the National Cancer Institute.
